Hey, everyone! I’m Jessica, the founder behind The Hook Nook, and I REALLY like to make pretty things. For the last several years I’ve gone from teaching myself to crochet, to selling my makes to friends and family, to opening an Etsy shop, to pattern designing and now I am so fortunate to have worked with some of the biggest brands and companies in the fiber industry from all around the world. You can now find my own The Hook Nook brand designer crochet hooks, yarn and craft accessories at in my online shop and at various retailers!

How To Use THN Ends Weaver

The Hook Nook

OKAYYYYYY!!

Back in October, on my 30th birthday (!!!) I finally was able to announce a secret I had been keeping for a year and a half by that point - The Hook Nook Collection! (Note: you can read all about the announcement in this previous blog post) I was able to work with an incredible team to help invent, design, repurpose and curate a collection of products and supplies that I wanted to see in the fiber market. One of the products we designed was The Hook Nook Ends Weaver - which has become a true staple in all of my projects.

Not only is this thing actually useful and functional, it's a seriously gorgeous addition to your creative collection, which always helps curate an inspirational environment. And, it photographs really well. ;)

I wanted to share a tutorial on how to use this super rad tool to speed up that dreaded ends weaving stage of your projects. No more threading tapestry needles! YAAASSSSSSS!!!!

LET'S GO!

PS,

Want to snag one real quick and then come back to learn how to use it? Great idea. This is about to become the tool you never knew you needed. Head to the shop to snag some goodies while they're in stock!

HOW TO USE ENDS WEAVER : STEP-BY-STEP

Step 1:

Line your Ends Weaver toward your tail, where it will be woven into

Step 2:

Weave tool through stitches, towards tail. Mouth/clasp can remain open.

Step 3:

Once through, grab tail and close within mouth/clasp.

Step 4:

Begin pulling tool/tail back through your stitches.

Step 5:

Pull tool/tail all the way through. Snip off excess tail.

Step 6:

Enjoy your clean edging - yuhhhhhh

I just love this little tool so dang much. I *might* have several stashed around places (my craft room, my car, my WIP bag, and in my suitcase for when I travel.. I have a tendency of losing things). Besides, it's just so PRETTY!!!!

You can purchase The Hook Nook Ends Weavers at various retailers, as well as in my online shop! THNLife Shop is full of patterns, yarn, accessories and even mystery boxes (THN Ends Weaver is tucked into some of these!!). Did I mention that orders placed through my website are packaged and shipped directly from me to you and I always include little extra goodies and handwritten thank-you's for each and every order. <3

I appreciate you all for supporting me and my family!! I hope you love The Hook Nook Collection as much as I do! Make on, Makers!

PS, check out this blog post I wrote where I share several different projects using THN yarn and get inspired to make something new!

xo,

Jessica
