Snowman Hand Puppet Crochet Pattern by Erin Greene

12/1/2020

Winter was a very magical time of year for me as a child. Admittedly, as an adult, it is less so. I don't enjoy being cold. I don't like having to bundle up, and I really hate having to scrape ice off my windshield. However, children don't have these same concerns over winter. Falling, fluffy, snowflakes cause jaw dropping, eye widening excitement. Dressing up in soft squishy winter coats and pants makes them feel like marshmallows who can't get hurt no matter how hard they throw themselves into the snow. Building snowmen takes up so much space in their excited brains, they have no room for complaining of the cold. I miss those creative times, lacking the inhibitions of an adult, and running headlong into the fun and excitement of the season. In an attempt to somewhat bridge that gap, I have created this fun and warm Snowman Hand Puppet. Great for playing indoors, but hopefully, still bringing some of the magic of winter.
