Oh man, the inner-child in me combined with the cute accessory collector in me mashed with the fiber addict in me is SOOOOOOOO in love with these dang The Hook Nook Skein Savers!! Have you seen these yet?!
Basically they're like those '90s hair ties (click-clacks, anyone?!) but I had the elastics lengthened so it would wrap around skeins/balls/cakes/hanks of yarn to keep from unraveling while at the same time acting as the cutest freaking thing next to the actual yarn itself. Ob. Sessed.
I designed two styles of Skein Savers - a faux fur style (extremely soft and squishy and a lovely textural detail on your yarn) as well as a smaller-sized acrylic version that come in marbled and gold/glitter designs. I know I'm not along with having basically an entire stash of "opened" yarn and ends coming out of every nook and cranny, so I have stocked up on several of each design so I can always have one available when I begin working a new skein! I also love to use them to pre-plan my project colors by wrapping a skein saver around a bundle of hanks I plan to use together. The yarn is just so dang cute with these itty darling pieces of sass and personality!
