Le Cafe Mason Jar Cozy Crochet Pattern

Hello, fellow crafters! I’m so happy you are reading this blog post to not only learn more about the face behind DAHI x Stephanie Marie, but to learn how to make the Le Café Mason Jar Cozy! If I could describe myself in a few phrases, I’d have to say: apparel design, eco-conscious, Paris and cats, of course ;) From a very young age, I was taught how to crochet by my maternal grandmother. She mainly made blankets and hats while my mom made intricate pieces like doilies and lace christening gowns. To be honest, I did not care for crochet when I first learned because it was not soft or wearable like a knit! So, I was given my first pair of knitting needles from my grandmother’s knitting club and taught myself to knit. After quite a few years, I realized that I wanted to make crochet wearable, and with the variety of yarns today I can make that happen! By day I am a textile designer and by night I am creating patterns and filming instructional YouTube videos to teach others my knit and crochet patterns. Around the time I learned to crochet and knit, I knew that I wanted to be an eco-conscious fashion designer “when I grew up”. What better way to introduce myself to the maker community than through a dual eco-friendly cozy that I designed? It’s a win-win when you use a mason jar instead of a to-go cup as well as a reusable cozy than a paper or styrofoam one! Hint: Starbucks will totally make any drink for you in a mason jar if you bring it in, so don’t forget your cup cozy when you get a beverage (especially a hot one)! I hope you enjoy my Parisian themed, eco-friendly crochet accessory, Le Café Mason Jar Cozy.
